Finely diced peppers, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, and lime juice come together to create a bold, delicious Spicy Salsa combination!  It’s a garnish with attitude, and no one can ever have just one serving, so make extra. And be warned, once you make this recipe, your family and friends will be requesting it often.  And you may have family members hiding the leftovers.

Easy Homemade Spicy Salsa Recipe

Needed tools

Ingredients

  • Five medium ripe tomatoes

  • Seven garlic cloves

  • 1/8 cup finely chopped onion

  • Two serrano peppers

  • One jalapeno pepper

    • For a milder salsa, use fewer peppers, or remove the seeds

  • Two limes - juiced

  • Three tablespoons of finely chopped cilantro

Directions

  1. Finely dice all ingredients, and place them in a bowl

  2. Add lime juice and salt to taste to the bowl and mix.

  3. Serve after mixing or refrigerate and chill. Enjoy with tortilla chips, tacos, nachos, taquitos, etc.

  4. Store any extra in the refrigerator for up to five days.
