Are you looking for new Thanksgiving recipes? Well, if you are, I found some outrageously yummy ones this week! I recently interviewed two of my favorite chefs, Joy from Pure Joy Living & Paula, Queen Of The Grill, for my special Thanksgiving episode. Our conversation left my mouth watering and my food brain on overdrive, trying to decide which fabulous recipes to try! Thus Thanksgiving recipe test day idea was created, and I spent the entire day cooking their Smoked Turkey, Chorizo Cornbread Stuffing, Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans, and Chocolate Buttermilk Pie recipes. Success! All of these recipes were outstanding, and I will be making them for our Thanksgiving dinner next week.

Queen Of The Grill’s Smoked Turkey Bourban brine is a fantastic combination of sweet and savory flavors. I split our Mary’s organic turkey and smoked it for about 5 hours on oakwood! It was juicy, delicious smokey goodness! I highly recommend this recipe, and I will be making it again. I have so much gratitude to Paula for teaching me how to smoke a turkey; it was my first ever, and her instructions were easier then I expected, and once you’ve had a smoked turkey there’s no going back!

Queen Of The Grill Chorizo Cornbread Stuffing  is such a creative, delicious recipe and perfect for those of us who love chorizo and spicy food! I don’t have a traditional smoker, so I added fire-roasted poblano peppers and corn to add some smokey flavor. My hubby ate about six helpings of this! I think that covers how outrageously delicious this is.

Pure Joy Living Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans

These are the prettiest green beans ever and so delicious and easy to bake. Brown sugar, butter, bacon, enough said! We gobbled these up! I need to make more than just one for each of us, and I know my guests are going to love them as much as we did! Visit Joy’s website for all her delicious Thanksgiving sides recipes.

Chocolate Buttermilk Pie

Chocolate Buttermilk Pie

Pure Joy Living Chocolate Buttermilk Pie. Joy needs to change the recipe name to MIND-BLOWING Chocolate Lover’s Pie! I shared it with four neighbors, and they all loved it too! Seriously chocolate heaven in a pie! I wish I had leftover pie for breakfast, but it’s all gone!

I’m so grateful to Paula and Joy for sharing their delicious recipes, and I can’t wait to share them with our Thanksgiving guests next week!

Have a glorious Thanksgiving, everyone!

Happy Cooking!

Big hugs,

Molé Mama
